What if you are running late?
I understand with traffic etc, things happen, so please call or text me @ 512-760-0423 to give me a heads up. If you are up to 15 min late, then most likely, I can accommodate you for your service, however, you might leave a little damp and/or I am unable to give any finishing touches. If it’s over 15 min late, I will do my best to accommodate you within the timeframe I have or we can talk rescheduling.
Where are you located?
I am located in Phenix Salon Suites at Walden Park in North Austin.
When you arrive for your appointment. PLEASE wait in your car, text me @ 512-760-0423 to let me know you have arrived. I will respond shortly asking you to meet me at the front door where I will greet you and let you in.
How important is it to arrive as requested in the instructions?
VERY IMPORTANT! Arriving dry, no product (you can use a leave-in) on wash day or day 2 if you must. Please refrain from tying your hair back in any way to prevent elongating your textur. It is imperative to a cohesive curly cut. I cut your texture dry and in it’s natural state and if the instructions are not followed, it can spring up in an unpredictable way. Don’t PANIC, it’s a general guideline.
How often do I need a curly cut?
Generally speaking, 2-3 times a year. The beauty of textured hair, the maintenance is low
Why does a curly cut cost more than the average cut?
My custom curly cuts (not including express cut) take an average of 1-1/2 to 2 hours or longer in some rare cases. I am very meticulous, utilizing different techniques that I’ve learned throughout my education, so I can bring you the very best for textured hair. It’s all I do!
Can I straighten my hair after my appointment?
Yes, of course! The cut, however, is designed to be worn curly. If possible, give me a heads up if you might straighten in the future, as I can refine your cut with a technique that will allow you to go back & forth in a more forgiving way.

I UNDERSTAND. Please do your best to relax & breathe. My vibe and approach is a super chill & happy one, that SIMPLIFIES the whole darn thing for you! There is so much information out there and a lot of it is helpful, but it can be over engineered. It’s very important to have REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS too. I will listen to you, give you my best advice and it’s up to you what you choose to do with it. There is always flexibility and I want to make sure it’s customized to you, your lifestyle & budget.
